Size Guide : How do I find the frame size of my sunglasses and eyeglasses ?
What do the numbers on my glasses frames mean ?
Most of glasses have the size measurement printed inside the temples. The third figures in the sequence are expressed in millimeters and correspond to the following measures : diameter lens (example "52"), bridge width (example "18") and length of the temples (example "140").
The lens diameter gives a good indication of the complete width of the frame (it is possible, however, that two glasses of different lens size may have an identical total frame width).
The width or diameter of the lens is the first number (52-18-140)
The bridge width is the distance between the two lenses (52-18-140)
The 3rd number of the sequence is the length of the temples (52-18-140)
Our tip to choose the right glasses size
Find your fit with a credit card
Did you know that the size of a card (credit card for example) is approximately the same as the width of a standard lens?
Small, Medium or Large ? This guide will help you to choose the right size : place one side of the card in the center of your nose and observe the alignment on the other side.
If the edge of the card is beyond the end of the eye, prefer a small mount.
If the edge of the card ends at the end of the eye, go for the medium size.
If the edge of the card does not reach the end of the eye, choose a large size.
